Seafly 32 – The Maggie

I am searching for information regarding Seafly 32. This boat was owned by my father in the late 70’s. It was a wooden variant which my father refurbished and added a spinnaker chute and automatic balers. I haven’t been able as yet to find photo’s of the craft amongst old family photos but wondered if anyone may be able to assist.

The boat, named at the time “The Maggie”, was regularly sailed on the Embsay Moor Reservoir near Skipton, N.Yorks, where it had a reputation for quietly sneaking up on rivals before streaking past. The Maggie also made an appearance at the Seafly Nationals at Seasalter during our ownership. I’m sure my father will be grateful to know the boat’s whereabouts and I’m hoping that you will be able to assist in my search.
