Seafly 508
Seafly 508 is Zygal built and in need of some minor repair but sails very nicely. She may be the only one still sailing judging from the few in the early 500s listed on the memories pages.
Prior to 2013 when I received her, she was owned by my mother Bridget Baines and was sailed throughout the 1990s by her and Peter Hodge from Shelly beach in Exmouth and for a time from the Exe sailing club. She then spent a number of years packed away in the garage. My Mum tells me she liked to call her ‘sail away shrew’. She is currently being sailed on the estuary from time to time near to our home in south Suffolk.
